Directions: Color your hair in just 4 easy steps;
Step 1: Shampoo hair with
natural shampoo and towel dry.
Step 2: Mix 7 to 8oz of boiling water with 2oz henna powder. Wait until
liquid is lukewarm. Apply henna mixture with either a brush or with hands
wearing gloves (included) liberally and evenly over ALL hair strands. Place long hair on top of head in layers mixed with mixture.
Step 3: Cover with plastic cap (included) and leave on for at least 1.5 hours.
For better results may leave on longer.
Step 4: Remove cap and rinse thoroughly. May use a very small amount of
the
natural shampoo
(regular shampoo to wash henna dye out of hair). If the shampoo is not natural
then we don't recommend washing the hair afterwards with a non-natural shampoo
because the henna needs at least 24 hours to set and the color could slightly
wash away. Use the organic
conditioner
for dry or
oily to
normal hair. This specially formulated conditioning rinse will help set
the henna dye and last longer. Rinse well with clean water and dry.
Note: These products do not contain any parabens, propylene glycol,
ammonia, PPD (Phenylenediamine) nor peroxide. The henna powder only contains
plant based ingredients. The henna liquid contains henna extracts that comes
from a plant and a dye that makes the liquid more effective on covering grays.
Caution: This product must not be used for dying eyelashes or eyebrows. A
skin test should be carried out as some people may be sensitive to certain
plants. Apply a few drops of the mixture in the inside of the elbow or behind ear.
The skin must be clean and dry. Leave on for 24 hours. In case of reddening, burning, itching or any
other irritation, do not use.
