Stay Away From PPD in Hair Dye:
Chemicals in hair dye are absorbed by the scalp and carried out into the blood
stream. Studies have shown that p-phenylenediamine (PPD) is carcinogenic and is
added to almost every permanent hair dye.
Chestnut Henna Liquid is an excellent alternative to cover gray hair without
stripping the hair, instead conditions and gives your hair body. Recommended for those who have more
than 20% gray hair. For those who have less than 20% the Organic Henna Powder is
most suitable. 2oz
premixed bottle and includes a cap and gloves.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will the henna liquid cover my gray hairs?
A: The henna liquid works well for hair that has more than 20% gray hair. It
contains henna extract to help nourish the air and a liquid dye to give you the
color. People who wash their hair every other day and with 100%
natural shampoo
and conditioner tend to retain the color for a longer period of time. Color
should start fading within 4 weeks under these circumstances.
Q: How long will the henna stay on my hair?
A: The henna creme should last about 3-4 weeks depending on what type of shampoo and conditioner you use and also
how frequently you wash your hair.
Q: Does the Henna liquid contain chemicals?
A: The henna liquid is made from extracts of natural plants such as Rhubarb Root, dried
petals of Centaurea, Lichen and other dried plants. This product does not
contain parabens,
propylene glycol, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, P-Phenylenediamine,
nor any other synthetic chemicals
that are known as carcinogens which pose a risk of cancer. It does contain a
synthetic food grade type of dye which is the only way to achieve covering the grays. The
henna powder
is completely natural and also does not contain any chemicals nor dye.
Q: Will the Henna liquid work for my gray beard?
A: This product should cover the grays on your beard.
Q: Will I get an allergic reaction?
A: Although we have not had anyone get an allergic reaction it is best that
you perform a patch test in the event you are allergic to some plants. Follow
the instructions on the package. Usually people are sensitive to parabens,
propylene glycol, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and
P-Phenylenediamine.
Not many people are allergic to dyes. Dyes are also in our foods. If you are
concerned about becoming allergic we suggest you use the
Henna Powder.
