It contains henna extract to help nourish the hair and a liquid dye to give you the color. People who wash their hair every other day and use a 100% natural shampoo and conditioner tend to retain the color for a longer period of time. Color should start fading within 4 weeks under these circumstances. Q: How long will the henna stay on my hair? A: The henna creme should last about 3-4 weeks depending on what type of shampoo and conditioner you use and also how frequently you wash your hair. Your gray hairs may come out sooner therefore you would have to reapply accordingly. Q: Does the Henna liquid contain chemicals? A: The henna liquid is made from extracts of natural plants such as Rhubarb Root, dried petals of Centaurea, Lichen and other dried plants. This product does not contain parabens, propylene glycol, ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, P-Phenylenediamine (PPD), nor any other synthetic chemicals that are known as carcinogens which pose a risk of health problems.
