Natural Henna Hair Color : The henna plant is native to Asia and the Mediterranean coast of Africa and thrives in warmer climates all over the world. The leaves are harvested, dried, and ground into a fine powder. Henna contains hennotannic acid, a dye that bonds with the collagen in skin cells and keratin of fingernails and hair, leaving behind a coloring.

Natural Indigo Plant: Indigo's botanical name is Indigofera tinctoria found in India and other sub-tropical countries. A blue dyestuff is obtained from the various species of Indigofera readily soluble in water. It is a very well-known and highly important dye, millions of pounds being exported from India annually.

Natural Litmus's Plant: Litmus's botanical name is Roccella tinctoria part of the same family as Lichen roccella. These plants grow on seashore rocks on all warm coasts and some mountain rocks and are harvested and used for there natural pigments. Blue and Red rchil or Archil are used for dyeing, colouring and staining. The red is prepared by steeping the lichen in earthen jars and heating them with steam. The blue is similarly treated in a covered wooden vessel.

Natural Hair Color Product : Herbatint provides permanent color in only one application, which can only be removed by growing the color out. This product uses a natural herbal base with no ammonia. Utilizing the many beneficial properties obtained from herbal extracts and proteins.

Herbatint gently colors and protects the sensitive structure of your hair, giving a deep natural gloss and brilliance. You can also lighten your hair color by approximately one shade using Herbatint.

Use for Damaged Hair : Herbatint can be used even if a chemical dye has been used to colour your hair. If you have a permed hair, please take into consideration that your hair is more porous, select one shade lighter than usual for best results. May be used with natural shampoos and conditioning products to avoid harsh chemicals that may damage your hair. Other conditioners include the royal cream.
