Essential oils not only affect the physical but also the mental and
emotional aspects of our lives. The inhalation of certain essential oils has
been associated with the release of brain chemicals that simulate various

Eucalyptus Essential Oil is obtained through a steam distillation process from
the leaves and the branches of the eucalyptus tree, also known as the fever
tree. Approximately 110 pounds of the plant material is required to produce
about two pounds of oil. The active ingredient in eucalyptus oil is "eucalyptol"
and has strong antiseptic properties. Also an excellent antiviral, chest rub,
decongestant, disinfectant, and expectorant and helps reduce fever. Used as an
ointment for muscular aches and pains. Good for repelling insects, and for use
on insect bites or stings. Has a normalizing balancing effect.
When purchasing Eucalyptus Essential Oil make sure it is 100% pure botanical
extracts, not chemical reproductions of different fragrances. Chemical
reproductions are not effective in aromatherapy because they do not evoke the
same biochemical response as natural, pure essential oils.
Herbal Choice's Eucalyptus Essential Oil comes in a 0.42oz amber glass bottle to
